Description
The Buffalo Zoo offers unique monthly home School classes for the whole family to experience the world of animals like a real naturalist! Classes will focus on a different topic each month and include hands-on family activities, live animal encounters, and guided exhibit visits.
PLEASE NOTE: Everyone attending the classes must be registered. All families must have a minimum of 1 adult registered.

October 23rd - What’s on your Plate?: Explore animal diets and how animals find their food.
November 13th - Backyard Animals: Discover the animals and habitats that call New York home.
December 11th - World Safari: Join our expedition filled with animals from around the world.
January 8th - Amazing Adaptations: Examine the differences between mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods.
February 12th - The Cycles of Life: Get a glimpse into the lives of animals that go through big changes throughout their lives.
March 12th - You Can be a Zookeeper: Experience the exciting career of animal care.
April 9th - Animal Habitats: Investigate the different habitats of the world and create a habitat for your favorite animal.
May 14th - Animal Behavior: Observe animals and design a plan to study their behavior.
June 11th - Vanishing Animals: Help us solve the mystery of the vanishing animals and learn how you can help.
